feita depende muito de um modelo de captador para outro, pode levar em torno de
4000 até 15000 espiras. A resistência do captador muda dependendo a quantidade
de espira feitas na bobina, e também influencia o fio utilizado (a espessura do
fio de cobre) pode variar de acordo com o projeto do captador.</span></div>

campo magnético que penetra na corda da guitarra, fazendo com que ele se torne
magnetizado com a polaridade norte e sul. Quando a corda é puxada, ela oscila,
mudando assim o fluxo magnético que passa através da bobina. O fluxo magnético
variável induz uma emf (Medidor de Campo Eletromagnético) na bobina, e a
polaridade desta muda emf com a vibração da corda de aço. Uma corda vibrando a
440 Hz, por exemplo, induz uma emf ac-440 hz na bobina. Este sinal, depois de
ser amplificado, é enviado para os alto-falantes, que produzem uma onda de som
de 440 Hz.</span></div>

ímanes de alnico são feitos por vazamento, ou sinterização de uma
combinação de alumínio, níquel e cobalto com ferro, junto a pequenas
quantidades de outros elementos adicionados para melhorar as
propriedades do íman. A sinterização oferece características mecânicas
superiores, que proporcionam maior intensidade de campos magnéticos e
permite a concepção de variadas formas. Os ímãs Alnico comumente
utilizados na fabricação de captação vêm em quatro tipos diferentes,
marcadas com algarismos romanos II através de V. Quando isso acontece,
II e V são as mais comuns, com III e IV ocasionalmente usado por alguns
fabricantes. Cada formulação de Alnico é diferenciada de acordo com a
composição da liga, e os números aumentam de acordo com a força do íman.
Alnico é normalmente composto de alumínio (cerca de 10 por cento),
níquel (cerca de 18 por cento) e de cobalto (cerca de 12 por cento),
geralmente com um pouco de cobre (cerca de 6 por cento) e uma abundância
de ferro (54 por cento) para completar a liga. Alguns Alnico também
contém uma pequena quantidade de titânio e vestígios de nióbio.</span><br />

espaço em redor do íman, em que existe atuação das forças magnéticas, é
chamado de campo magnético. Os efeitos de atração ou repulsão entre
dois ímanes, ou de atração de um íman sobre os materiais ferrosos
devem-se à existência desse campo magnético.<br />Como artifício para
estudar esse campo magnético, admite-se a existência de linhas de força
magnéticas ao redor do íman. Essas linhas são invisíveis, mas podem ser
visualizadas com o auxílio de um recurso. Colocando-se por exemplo um
íman sob uma lâmina de vidro, e espalhando limalha de ferro sobre essa
lâmina, as limalhas se orientam conforme as linhas de força magnética.<span style="font-family: "calibri light" , sans-serif;"> </span>O
formato característico das limalhas sobre o vidro, denominado de
espectro magnético, é representado na ilustração ao lado. Essa
experiência mostra também a maior concentração de limalhas na região dos
polos do íman. Isso é devido à maior intensidade de magnetismo nas
